Drink A Lot Of Water To Lose Weight

The most vital component for losing fat stored in our body is all around us. Its range is two third part of the planet. If your diet and exercise routine is well balanced, but still you are overweight, you are probably just not drinking enough water. Drinking lots of water does help you lose weight and it also helps you lose it faster.

I have a permanent state of dehydration because I do not drink enough water.I was also heavier by a few more pounds than was healthy for me.So, to get the weight off, I started drinking more water. I noticed that it gave me more energy as my metabolism started working differently.I did a good amount of research and this is what I discovered about metabolism.

There are many types of metabolism going on in a person’s body at all times, but to lose weight your metabolism needs to  convert fat to energy which is what the liver does.But the liver also has to do other functions - one of which is to pick up the function of the kidneys when they are not functioning properly.If you don't drink enough water, your kidneys are water deprived and the liver has to do their work as well as its own work.When the liver does the work of kidneys, it can't process fat to produce energy quickly as it does normally.As a result the fat stores up.It is just like when an employee, who works with you, doesn’t come to work and you will have to do his work while doing your own work.And your pending work becomes another source of concern for you.

The problem is, often we decide to increase our water intake, but we don't follow it religiously.During the first few days of drinking more water than our bodies are use to, we were running to the bathroom again and again. This is discouraging, and is certainly interfering in day to day life.We think that water comes out just as fast as it goes in, and we decide that we should give up the habit of drinking water.

What is happening is that our bodies are eliminating the water that has been stored over the years of what is called “survival mode”.When we drink lots of water, our body starts to getting rid of water that is unnecessarily stored in our thighs, ankles and hips.We are eliminating water that our bodies realize they don’t require anymore.  We usually reach what is called a “break though” point where our bodies will let us return to normal and we are not going to the restroom as much.
